Why is this job a calling for me?

“When I get up in the morning I feel gratefulness for getting to do the job that I love to do. I love working with clients and helping them to develop and grow and stretch themselves to become the people they desire to be. I love the creativity and variety of tools I get to toy with. I love the travel (most of the time…) and cultures and languages as well as the chance to grow and develop personally as well as professionally. And I am deeply appreciative of the engaged and passionate trainer team I work with – the chance to work with people who love their job as much as I love mine. What else could I ask for?”

A favorite book

One of my most favorite novels is The Help by Kathryn Stockett. It takes place in the 1960s in the southern United States and explores racism, false beliefs, incitement of fear and hate through politics and yet also provides hope and yearning for change. This book always throws me on a roller coaster ride of emotions – laughter, joy, shock, sadness, shame, outrage, disbelief and hope.
