Leadership Development

We love to see leaders leave their comfort zone, build their toolbox, and grow! We would be honored to collaborate with you to design and deliver customized, sustainable leadership training and coaching for your leaders or high potentials. Upon request, we can create coaching plans and international programs in German and English.

One of our biggest USP is our hybrid approach to learning. Yes, time is money, and we want to respect both! We deliver hybrid approaches by offering an online platform with access to videos and other materials which serve as preparation for each training module. This saves us time in the “classroom” (on-site or virtual), and participants come better prepared for the training. They have had to think about and reflect on the content, allowing us to start practicing and engaging with it from the get-go.

Following in-depth consultations, we develop the right program for you and your employees

Length:

Leadership training can include, for example, skill bites (short sessions), which are integrated into a larger workshop or offered online for a few hours on a customized basis.

Full leadership development programs usually last between 6 – 12 months. We work with you to determine what works best based on needs, goals, and resources.

Target Groups:

Our leadership development programs are generally split into three target groups, each dependent on where participants are on their leadership journey and where they want to go. After a needs analysis, we’ll help you put together the perfect program that best suits your organization’s needs.

Key Elements might include:

Tier 1
First-Time Managers

  • Making the identity shift from team member to team lead
  • Subject Matter Expert vs. Leader
  • Clarifying the challenges and understanding the reality of the new role
  • Understanding and steering the primary phases of team development
  • Making time for leadership and setting priorities
  • Employee motivation and demotivation: praise, recognition, and constructive feedback: When? How? How much is too much?
  • Creating team rituals from the outset
  • Build a culture of mutual feedback from the start
  • Eliminate the blame culture.
  • Effectively planning and conducting meetings (face-to-face as well as virtually): Which types of meetings are needed, when, who to invite, and at what frequency?

Tier 2
Experienced and General Managers

  • Leading hybrid teams
  • Constructively holding (difficult) employee conversations
  • Building personal resiliency in yourself and in your team
  • Leading you and your employees more healthily through change
  • Recognizing the early warning signs of lurking conflicts and addressing and resolving them competently and confidently
  • Appreciating and adapting to various communication needs in your team (for example, with Insights Discovery, DiSC, or the MBTI assessment tools)
  • Creating a positive working climate where people want to show up and contribute
  • Building a strong feedback culture in your team
  • Fostering interpersonal trust and psychological safety in your team
  • Fostering a true sense of belonging in your team (not just managing diversity and inclusion)
  • Creating and communicating a vision and purpose during times of change
  • Planning for and managing resistance, fear, and resistance during times of change
  • Delegating vs. Empowering – when is each style appropriate

Tier 3
Executive and Senior Managers

  • Spotting and preventing burnout and quiet quitting early on
  • Heightening your awareness of how you may be seen by others (strengths and weaknesses) using the HOGAN personality assessment
  • Mentoring and coaching skills for leaders (based on the motto: Listen-and-Ask, not Tell-and-do-as-I-say)
  • How to mediate and resolve conflicts between two or more people
  • Tackling complexity through best practices for leaders
  • Strength-based leadership: Learn how to deal with one’s negativity bias and see the strengths in employees
  • Diverse leadership models and approaches, including shared leadership, authentic leadership, transformational leadership, the leader as coach, and positive leadership
  • Emotional and Cognitive Regulation: How to cope with negative triggers in a healthier way
  • Emotional Intelligence: How to become aware of yourself and your feelings and how to validate others’ feelings without taking them on as your own feelings
